How do different forms of Art play a part in our quest to keep Philippine biodiversity thriving?
For this Better World Cafe, we meet two great artists whose works capture the essence of our country’s rich biodiversity. Beyond beautiful pieces, each depiction of flora and fauna they create tells the story of a species. They are stories riddled with the reality of biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, and harmful human activities.
In continuation of our talks on community action in species conservation, we will see the power of Art as a platform to highlight our endemic and indigenous species.
This event is free and open to fully vaccinated individuals.
For the safety of attendees, slots are limited.

See you! (Poster and text from the Mind Museum Facebook Page)
Huge kudos to @themindmuseum for inviting @arncyn and me to talk about our love for art and the Philippines’ rich biodiversity! Despite the unfavorable weather conditions (smog, vog, and heavy rains), we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who joined us last September 23.
Geeking out over our shared passion for raising environmental awareness through art was an absolute pleasure. We firmly believe that art can be a powerful tool to inspire people to care for our environment and the amazing creatures that inhabit it. By featuring the remarkable variety of Philippine flora and fauna in our artwork, we hope to ignite a passion in others to value and safeguard our natural resources.
Totally over the moon for the chance to collaborate with the Mind Movers to spread the word about environmental awareness and conservation through the arts.
Maraming salamat uli!
