Proud to be part of TABA Plantae Documentary 2024- The Contemporary Botanical Art Exhibition! My entry is the Lobelia proctorii, an endemic species found in Mt. Guiting-Guiting, a protected area in Sibuyan Island. This species is considered endangered because of its limited distribution.
There are around 150 artworks selected, and this is the largest botanical art exhibition in Taiwan ever! Congratulations to @anniebotanicalart , Taiwan Association of Botanical Artists, and the exhibition team for mounting such an excellent show!

⭐️ Plantae Documentary 2024-The Contemporary Botanical Art Exhibition is coming!
After the Taiwan Association of Botanical Artists (TABA) conducted an international exhibition record in Taiwan a year ago and set off a trend of plant science aesthetics, “TABA Plantae Documentary 2024 – The Contemporary Botanical Painting Art Exhibition” once again attracted nearly 100 domestic and overseas artists (from Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Vietnam, South Africa, China, Russia, Canada, Malaysia, Serbia, etc., more than 20 countries/regions) and 150 stunning works are on display. The works are more exquisite, profound, diverse and exciting than last year! You don’t need to travel to 20 countries. You can easily appreciate world-class botanical works of art in Taiwan. This is a rare opportunity!
For art collectors, you can find here a collection that will satisfy you whether it is for appreciation of plant aesthetics, potential value increase or space decoration.

Two of the lectures include “Life with Scientific Drawing” and “The Development of Botanical Art in Southeast Asia” (lectures are only available at Chengmei gallery~~)
In addition to paintings, this year TABA once again displayed beautiful 3D botanical works of art in the exhibition windows that received great reviews, which are full of visual feast and real life aesthetics.
There will also be refreshments at the opening, and botanical art commercial products will be on for sale, making your trip worthwhile!
